This is the site just outside of Guernsey, Wyoming where the Pioneers stopped on their way west. Once here, they would carve their names into the sandstone cliff wall. To this day, their names can be seen on this wall. They arrived here from Fort Laramie, Wyoming. That trip alone would take a day, and is only 12 miles. We will be going to Fort Laramie later today, but it should only take us about 15 to 20 minutes.
