Just south of Guernsey, you find this, the Oregon Trail ruts. These are the actual ruts left by the wagon trains of the Pioneers as they went westward. It is nice to be back in Guernsey. It has been 25 years since I lived here, and the time here has brought back many wonderful memories. On to Fort Laramie!

I can remember Dad driving the covered wagon through here and oh the bumps? Guernsey was a welcome sight! We pitched our tent near Register Cliff and signed our names. Did you find them?
