I really hate snakes. However, I am not fearful of them. But....we found this snake skin right near our tent, and that disturbes me. To further intimidate me (while lying down to sleep), I heard a rustling near my head. I felt the floor of the tent, and discovered what felt like a large stick or branch. As I continued to feel it, and squeeze it with my fingers...IT SUDDENLY MOVED! It was a SNAKE! I started smacking at it and got it to finally slither out from under the tent. And yes...I did sleep, though later in the night I believe it returned to its hole which I think is under our tent! Ewww!

EWWW! I would have packed up and gone to a motel! ha ha..
