....somewhere in South Dakota! Actually, it is located just off Interstate 90 at exit 116. While they have always been in plain site, you certainly could not actually get close enough to get this photo! Not to mention that the photo is geo-tagged with the exact coordinates. This decomissioned site is now managed by the National Park Service. The glass top allows visitors to view the missile inside. We also got to tour the launch control facility, located about twenty miles east of the missile site. The launch control room itself is located in a hardened concrete capsule deep underground, sealed by an eight ton concrete and steel blast door. Very cool!

It looks like you guys have had a lot of fun and visited a lot of neat places. I would love to see a lot of those things someday...most likely when the kids get older..thats for sure! Glad you guys had a good time!
