Chuckwagon Supper!

Sorry....no pictures today. It has been harder on this trip to keep up with posting to the blog. Since I chose not to bring a laptop with me, I cannot get the pictures of our digital camera. Since my phone is the only way I can post pictures on this trip, I also have to take a picture with the phone in order to get them on the blog.

In any case, we did two things today: 1) this morning we went to Bear Country USA. It is a drive-thru wildlife park that, for obvious reasons, has bears. They were walking along the road and sniffed at the doors of the truck. The park also gets you close to other animals that are indigenous to this part of the country....like elk, big horn sheep, and mountain lions.
2) we them drove into Rapid City to get our laundry done, and later went to the Circle B Ranch for an old west style dinner and show. We had meat ( I had buffalo), baked potatoes, beans, apple sauce, corn bread biscuits, and ginger bread cake.

Tomorrow we leave the Black Hills and head over to Wounded Knee, then on into the Badlands. it is sort of sad, because we are really loving the Black Hills area a lot.
