....on the tops of their mountains anyhow. The peak in the foreground is Mauna Kea. In the background is Mauna Loa. The lowest temperature ever recorded in Hawaii occured on Mauna Kea.....1.4 degrees! As a survivor of many Minnesota winters, that is NOT cold!
