"Captain...There be WHALES here!"

While waiting for the night "show" to begin, we had a surprise visit just off the coast by the viewing area. Two humpback whales were frolicking in the water, not far offshore. Who knows, maybe their names were George and Gracy! If you are a fan of Star Trek, you might recognize where the quote for this post came from. Those were the words uttered by Scotty (Montgomery Scott) to Captain Kirk, when he had successfully beamed the two humpback whales into the cargo hold of their captured Klingon Bird of Prey in the movie - Star Trek IV, The Voyage Home. As if that wasn't enough, a very bright meteor streaked across the twilight lit sky. It was very bright, and very noticeable. Very cool......
