This restaurant was established in 1971. The building was built in 1880 by Sherwin and Houghton as a general mercantile store. This building was the six year old mining town's first masonry commercial structure. It was the Iron Mountain Saloon in the 1890's. After 1917, it was an ice cream parlor with an adjacent liquor store.
